I have finally decided to blog our little updates so that friends and family can stay in touch with us with less effort. Some of my friends do it here and I found it kinda neat that I could catch up on their recent happenings efficiently. So here it is.

During the months of April and May, we had the pleasure of my parents, Wei-Han's parents visiting and my sister in law, Patricia visiting. We had by then moved into our new address which is a corner semi detached house. We enjoyed their stay tremendously, Matthew especially. He is requesting if he can fly to Sydney on a regular basis now, since that's where all the fun people seem to live!

Mia who usually takes awhile to warm up to strangers also decided that visitors are fun, more attention all round!

We were really close to rehoming Zach, our fiesty little Jack Russell Terrier, a week ago, but he has somehow made a big turn around a week before the new owner would take him. He seemed to settle down to the house, our routines and is happier all round. So he's staying for now which is great as I was having nightmares about rehoming him and Wei-Han had been quite sad about it over the last few weeks.

Since we've moved into a house, Matthew hasn't been going to playschool. This was partly because there really isn't anything great around here and everything he does at school, he can do at home. We had so many great outdoor toys given to us by church friends whose children are growing out of these toys, so our yard resembles a playschool. We have friends (mums and kids) over 2-3 times a week, so there's no shortage of social interaction with him. Matthew is learning how to share his toys graciously and though he is doing a good job of it, he still does need constant reminders.

Mia is now 5 1/2 months and is quite a delight, though more serious than Matthew. Matthew has been the sweetest older brother so far, though now he is realising that Mia has hands that will take toys from him whenever she so desires. And as you know, he is learning how to share,.... so I keep talking about taking turns. Sometimes, he will say, " Mia's finished" and take the toy back despite the obvious fact that she isn't, because it's still in her mouth!
