Everday, the kids napped well in the cottage, especially Matthew, since he got so much exercise in the first half of the day. During the week, Mia's first tooth also appeared, which explained the high fevers just before we left Singapore. As for me, I actually started to read a book that's not about parenting, nutrition, etc. I discovered what it was like to live without the mobile phone, computer or the diary. It was strange to realise how freeing that was for a little while.
On the last day, we visited a Wildlife Centre at Whitefield Park where we saw native animals and we got to touch kangaroos, koalas and hold a wombat! Wei-Han and I were totally stoked that we could even touch a wombat!
We arrived home with exhausted and irritable kids, Mia more so than Matthew, since we didn't get home til 10pm, well after their bedtimes of 7-8pm. All in all a great trip.
